E3 2019 : Phantasy Star Online 2 arrive en Amérique du Nord

Phantasy Star Online 2 a été annoncé en Amérique du Nord sur Xbox One et Windows 10, à la surprise générale, durant la conférence Xbox E3 2019.

Le free to play à succès PSO 2 arrive donc au printemps 2020 sur Xbox One et Windows 10 en Amérique du Nord. Sa sortie européenne reste à confirmer à cette heure.

Phantasy Star Online 2 est actuellement en extension Episode 6 au Japon et tourne sur PS4, PS Vita, Switch et PC. Les versions PS et Switch ne sont pas prévues en Occident.

"SEGA Games Co., Ltd. announced today that Phantasy Star Online 2 (PSO2), one of Japan's greatest online RPGs, will launch in the West, debuting in North America in Spring 2020 on Xbox One .

Players of PSO2 become a member of a research expedition called "Arks," which belong to a fleet of interplanetary cruising ships, setting out to a research a variety of different planets. Visiting places for the mission (quest) always evolves into a fresh and surprising adventure, including auto-generated maps, sudden events, and a Multiplayer Party Area, where up to 12 players can play together simultaneously.

Each planet and quest is an encounter with different characters and battles with enemies. Its easy control systems allow for intense exhilaration in battles as well as highly strategic and customizable actions.

Gigantic boss enemies are also waiting for their time to challenge you with their towering body that covers the whole screen. Team up with other players against epic bosses!

Create Your Own Character with the Ultimate "Character Creation"!

PSO2 lets players create their own characters in an easy and intuitive way with the "Character Creation" system.

Not only costumes, hairstyles, accessories, but also the height, body shape, and moreover, the length and thickness of arms and legs, can be customized with a morphing feature for unlimited customization and design combination.

On peut remercier bien fort MS de réaliser le rêve d'une tonne de Sega fans, ils sont clairement allés voir Sega non pas avec un chéquier mais plutôt avec des solutions d'infrastructure réseau...

Bref, bonne mentalité, as usual :good:
une super nouvelle mais j'avoue que quand j'ai vu le logo SEGA à la conf Microsoft j'espérais des annonces en pagaille, le nouveau Sonic, Panzer Dragoon, etc... N'étant pas un joueur MMO et donc totalement hermétique à PSO2, je suis forcément un peu déçu... J'espère que c'est le début d'un partenariat durable
Est-ce quil y a un mode offline pour débloquer les maps et monter son perso au début ? Dans le 1 sur DC, je me souviens des maps "foret, ruine, cave, mine..".

Enfin PSO localisé !!! Heureusement que Microsoft est là pour cette licence. Manque plus à Sega que de sortir le Scarlet Dawn chez eux et je prends la nouvelle XBOX day one !!
Ce qui fait iech c'est qu'il va être distribué uniquement sur le windaube store... quelle chiasse ce truc... :dcd:
On perd l'avantage du 1 avec son petit mode solo ou multi local. à voir si ça sort ou pas en europe et des conditions sur xbox one (live obligatoire ? ou pas besoin comme d'autre jeux Free...)
