Durant cette période, Tokyo 2020, le jeu officiel des Jeux Olympiques, est sorti sur PlayStation 4 et Nintendo Switch. Le mercredi 24 juillet 2019 précisément.
Tokyo 2020 est 6e sur Nintendo Switch et affiche 9.425 exemplaires. Il est 19e sur PlayStation 4 et affiche 4.150. Il réalise donc globalement 13.575.
Le jeu marche donc très moyennement alors que les Jeux Olympiques vont créer l'engouement dans un an. Mario & Sonic 2020 fera certainement mieux sur Switch en fin d'année.
