Lord of the sword est un bon jeu d'action, qui n'a peut etre pas une realisation exceptionnelle, notamment la jouabilité qui est un peu "lourde", mais il offre une aventure sympathique dans laquelle on s'immerge facilement. Ce n'est pas du grand hit mais un bon petit jeu à essayer sans hésiter!

Plus assimilé à de l'action RPG que du RPG pur, ce jeu nous mettait dans la peau d'un rogue qui devait subir 3 test pour espérer devenir roi.
Si le premier test se révélait assez facile, les 2 autres s'apparentaient moins à une promenade de santé.
Disposant d'une bande son en accord avec le jeu, la succession village,zone de jeu ce fesait tout naturellement.
Combinant attaque à l'épée et utilisation de l'arc, ce jeu disposait d'une bonne durée de vie.
Ce jeu démontre encore une fois la diversité de l'offre en RPG et action RPG de la Master System.

The followers of the evil Ra Goan have toppled the king from the throne. None are brave enough to take his place. The Elders have decreed that any man who can pass three tests will become King of Baljinya. Find the tree of merill. Defeat the Goblin of Balala Valley. Destroy the statue of Evil. It sounds easy. But the followers of Ra Goan are waiting to stop you!
It's an adventure that will take you across rivers and oceans, through swamps and over mountains. You have a sword and a bow. But magical weapons may become yours... for a price.
