"Rovio Entertainment, the creator of the globally beloved Angry Birds franchise, announces the upcoming launch of Angry Birds Bounce, a brand new mobile title available exclusively on Apple Arcade starting July 3, 2025.
Angry Birds Bounce reimagines the iconic slingshot gameplay with a dynamic brick-breaker-inspired twist. Designed to bring strategic depth and chaotic charm, the game blends classic mechanics with arcade-style precision, offering players an all-new way to interact with the Angry Birds universe.
A milestone release under SEGA
This is Rovio’s first Angry Birds game since being acquired by SEGA in 2023. As such, Angry Birds Bounce marks an important milestone for one of mobile gaming’s most successful franchises. With more than 5 billion lifetime downloads, Angry Birds has been at the forefront of mobile entertainment for over 15 years.

New and classic characters unite
Players can expect to see their favorite birds, such as Red, Chuck, and Bomb, alongside exciting new additions. Angry Birds Bounce introduces the franchise’s first non-binary character, Jo, who was first introduced during Pride Month in 2023 and now returns as a fully playable bird with a deeper backstory and new abilities. Another new character, Gordon, brings a fresh personality to the flock, inspired by the creativity and flair of Rovio’s Toronto studio, where the game was developed in its entirety, thus making this the first all-Canadian Rovio title.
A premium Angry Birds experience
Launching exclusively on Apple Arcade, Angry Birds Bounce offers a premium, ad-free experience. Players will progress through strategic rogue-lite levels, master power-ups, and build powerful flocks to take back the birds’ island home from the piggy invaders.
The bounce begins on July 3."
